Itinerary in brief
These excursions focus in some depth on culture ,
history and landscape of Cambodia. Depending on
your time and interest, you can opt two day tour
or three day tour, exploring the centre of
Cambodia or relaxing on one of unspoiled beaches
in Sihanoukville. We are keen to expose you to
this wonderful country, please open your mind.
Detail Itinerary
DAY 1: PHNOM PENH - KOMPONG CHAM - KOMPONG
THOM
The trip begins as
we depart Phnom Penh and pass through Cambodia
's biggest growing rubber area to Kampong Cham.
The deep contrast of lush vegetation and red
surface of basaltic soil is incredible all along
the way. On arrival in Kampong Cham, we visit
the Wat Nokhor with its ancient temple and
mordern style pagoda as well as the vestige of
colonial architecture. En route to Kongpong
Thom, we make stop over at Phnom Pros and Phnom
Srei, two hills whose names translate as the
'man hill' and the 'woman hill'. O/N in Kompong
Thom. (L,D)
DAY 2: KOMPONG THOM - SAMBOR PREI - PHNOM PENH
An early morning departure to the
archeaological sight of Sambor Prei Kuk , which
is dotted with hundred pre-angkor styled
temples. The road conditions are very poor, but
the spectacular scenery of this ancient ruins,
with a mixture of temples and forest makes the
hardship all worthwhile. We visit this ruin and
drive back to Phnom Penh. The trip ends after
arrival in Phnom Penh. (B,L)
