the formal Cafe Monivong, also open for casual lunch and
dinner. For upscale dining, restaurant offers Khmer haute
cuisine. Le Phnom is a delicatessen for fresh pasteries.
There are three bars (the Elephant, the Conservatory and the
Writers Bar) and high tea is available at also at the
Conservatory. The Poolside Terrace serves drinks and snacks
outdoors, and occaisionally hosts barbecu barbecues. The
Verandah specialises in after dinner tipples such as Scotch,
Cognac and Port, served up with Cuban cigars.

Lobby is elegant , marbled and medium in size. More seating
can be found in the conservatory to the rear of the
entrance. Adequate room for a group check in.

Rooms are to be found in several wings, all faithful to the
original design, with high ceilings as was the norm.
Standard rooms are medium in size and either overlook the
garden courtyard or the swimming pool. Bathroom design is
also faithful to the original and are quaintly charming.
Room decoration is a mixture of Cambodian and Art
Deco-always simple rather than fussy. With the comforts
