Day 1 : KUNMING - ARRIVAL (-, -, Dinner*)
Meet your guide and transfer to your hotel. If time permits, visit the Flower and Bird Market in the old part of town before dinner. Accommodation.

Day 2 : KUNMING - DALI (B, L, D*)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for morning flight to Dali. Upon arrival, discover the Bai minority villages of Xizhou, famous for the architecture of its residences and Zhoucheng where you will visit its local temple and a family tie-dye processing workshop. Drive back to Dali with a stop on the way at the Three Pagodas, the outstanding landmark of the area. Time at leisure in the afternoon to discover the old town. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants. Day 3 : DALI - LIJIANG (B, L, D*)
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Lijiang via the new road. Upon arrival in Lijiang, visit the Black Dragon Pond to have a look at the renowned Moon Embracing Pavilion and the Dongba Museum, sanctuary of the ancient Naxi culture. Walk about in the old streets of the city. Enlisted as World Heritage by UNESCO, Lijiang is a small old town laced with canals and bridges, cobblestone lanes along the river and provide many opportunities to observe the Naxi traditional way of life. Dinner at local restaurant followed by a Naxi music concert. Accommodation.

Day 4 : LIJIANG (B, L, D*)
Breakfast at hotel. Excursion to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain with a chair lift ride to discover the much famed thirteen peaks. On the way, visit the Jade Peak Monastery, Baisha village, once the capital of the Naxi Kingdom, famous for its Buddhist frescoes, and the village of Longquan. Lunch and dinner at local restaurant. Day 5 : LIJIANG (B, L, D*)
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, drive to Shigu (Stone Drum), village overlooking the First Bend of the Yangzi River. The river performs there a 180-degree round about face and runs parallel to itself in the midst of a breathtaking landscape. Then continue to the Tiger Leaping Gorge, so narrow here, legend tells us, that a hunted tiger escaped in one jump over the gorge. You will enter the gorge by bus before taking a path down to the Golden Sands River, name of the upper course of the Yangzi River. If weather permits, picnic lunch at the gorge. Dinner at local restaurant. Accommodation.

Day 6 : LIJIANG - KUNMING (STONE FOREST) (B, L, D*)
Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer to the airport for flight to Kunming. On arrival, continuation on the road to the Stone Forest consisting of eighty hectares of ancient limestone cliffs and peaks eroded by wind and water over two hundred million years. Its area is the home of the Sani minority. Drive back to Kunming. In the evening, dinner of Yunnan specialties followed by a cultural show. Accommodation.

Day 7 : KUNMING - DEPARTURE (B, L, -*)
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, drive to the Western Hills followed by a ten-minute chair lift ride up the hill. From the top a path winds down the famous "Dragon Gate". On the way to the Western Hills, stop at the Huating Buddhist temple. Lunch at local restaurant before transfer to the airport for departure flight.
