Detail Itinerary
This four day trip starts with 1 day of soft biking (35 km) + waterfalls...
Another biking discovery trip (40 - 50 km) and many dirtroads and countryside
A full day River Trip on Nam Ou and Mekong (see options) - a relaxed Rafting with village visits and the magic mekong river
Plus a full day of wonderful trekking and ethnic hilltribe visits, waterfall, valleys and a visit to the Lao Spirit Eco Resort...

Our base is Luang Prabang and the evenings are still free for own activities.
Another night in a lodge on the Nam ou river is included on day 2.

Itinerary:
Day 1 - Biking to Kuang Si waterfall, bus back to LP
start at 8:30 and bike to the wonderful Kuang Si waterfalls. Biking time will be about 3,5 hrs. Total hrs. up to 5 hrs. including stops in a Hmong village and nearby Mekong viewpoints along the way. Lunch will be served at the Kuang Si waterfalls. Spend the day in the wonderful cascades and come back after a relaxing afternoon with Minibus/Tuk - Tuk. Our guides will be happy to show you around and little up the cascades into the forests.
Back up Car will follow along the way to the waterfalls

Day 2 - Full day biking Adventure - backroads
In the morning we get on our bikes and prepare ourselves for a great trip northeast of Luang Phabang into countryside, along small dirt roads and little villages. Great Landscape and fields with their farmers. This trip shows you the original lao lifestyle. We have lunch somewhere along the way in a small village or on a pick nick spot.
In the afternoon we arrive near the Nam Ou river and sleep in a small Bungalow Guesthouse near the river. Enjoy the new surrounding and take a look on the magic landscape as well as on the river which we will raft on the next day...(biking about 60 km)

OPTION: just bike a different route - also northeast - and make the way back to Luang Phabang.   Back up Car will follow with spare parts and staff - Night will be in your Hotel in Luang Phabang

Day 3 - Rafting on Nam Ou equipped with rafting boats, helmets and life jackets we take a drive up the Nam Ou River to get into the adventures of river rafting. With our rafts, kayaks, guides and supplies we start in this water adventure. We will have enough time to stop along the way for village visits and some interesting meetings with the locals and their children. The amazing landscape as well as the rural life along the river is a great unforgettable experience. The river speed changes from medium to slow in dry season. Rafting Grade 1-2 is standard and means we will have only short and not dangerous rapids.
Evening we return to Luang Phabang with our Tuk-Tuk

Day 4 - Trekking, walking 4 - 6 hours
around 8:00 we start our Trekking day with a short ride to the Elephant and Adventures Camp which lies along the Nam Khan river. From here we start our Trekking with great landscape and green surrounding. In front of us we see a huge mountain range which is covered with jungle. Four villages are on our way, one of them is a Hmong village. We come through little villages and into the countryside that is inhabited by Khmu people. All of them speak a different language and our guides will translate for you... On the afternoon we go back with small boats to the amazing Tad Sea waterfall with its cascades and the incredible environment. Evening back in Luang Phabang

ROUTE of Trekking:
Adventure Camp - Khmu village - Lunch at Hmong Village - Khmu village - little river - little waterfall and green valley - Nam Khan boats - Tad Sea Waterfalls - Boat ride - Tuk Tuk to Luang Phabang.
