Detail Itinerary
Day 01 : LUANG PRABANG -
OUDOMXAI.
In the morning we start with our private car/van to
Oudomxai province north of Luang Prabang. During our
drive you get the chance to see some beautiful sceneries
and landscapes as the mountains arise from deep valley
in northern Laos . Our lunch we will take in the little
town of Pakmong . On the way we have short
stops for exploration and some village visits. Along the
way some Hmong and Khmu villages are found. We arrive
Oudomxai in the afternoon - free time to see a bit of a
typical quiet northern Laos town. Visit local market if
there is enough time. Overnight in Hotel - / L / -
Day 02 : OUDOMXAI - MUANG KUA.
After our breakfast we continue by car through some more
remote areas and beautiful countryside to Muang Kua
which lies on the wonderful Nam Ou river. Along the way
we can stop to visit Villages of Akha and Khmu tribes. A
short impression of their way of life will be a special
experience for you. Lunch will be served along the way.
In the afternoon we arrive in Muang Kua. Depending on
time you can still go out for some exploration within
the small town. Overnight at hotel. B / L / -
Day 03 : MUANG KUA - MUANG NGOI.
After breakfast we start heading out to have a look around in town
or on the river banks. We will see the local market and move on to
the traditional boats that wait for guests on the river. Than we
make our way down stream on Nam Ou river to Muang Ngoi, a little
village with basic toursit infrastructure. Picnic lunch is on the
way or in a little village. On the way we have different stops to
visit Ban Hadsaphuai (Khmu village) and other places. The
countryside and landscape is stunning and a beautiful mixture
between river, mountains and jungle. It is thought to be one of the
most beautiful sights of this area with rocks, cliffs and amazing
rock formations rising into the sky... Afternoon arrival in Muang
Ngoi. Overnight in simple Bungalows!*

Day 04 : A DAY OF ACTIVITY AROUND
MUANG NGOI
waking up in this great scenery is something special, but our day of
activity will add some highlights to that. Early morning we start
with our boat to go down the river for further visits along the way.
We stop to see a Lao Loum (Low land Lao) village. After
that we start for our activity day and for our trekking. It is a 2
hours Trek to Ban Pha Yoong (a Hmong ethic village), then we
continue to visit Ban Tad Lene(a Khmu village). Along the way we
find a picturesque scenery of mountains and rice paddies and rural
life maybe like hundreds of years ago in the modern world. Lunch
will be served along the way. After the Trek we return in the
afternoon to Muang Ngoi. Night in Simple Bungalows*

Day 05 : MUANG NGOI - LUANG
PRABANG.
After breakfast, continue to take the boat downstream to Luang
Prabang, on the way stopover to visit the famous Buddha's cave of
Pak Ou . Arrival in Luang Prabang would be between 4-5 p.m.,
Transfer to your hotel - End of service!

that all the accomodatioin in Muang Ngoi is very basic. Bathroom
are shared fascilities and there is no electricity at night.
