KINABALU NATIONAL PARK Easily
accessible from Kota Kinabalu, the Kinabalu National
Park provides a complex and varied ecological system
into a relatively small area. The Park extends from
1,588m above sea level to the summit of Mt. Kinabalu
at 4,095m (the highest peak in SE Asia) providing a
range of vegetation from cloud forest to mountain
forest to lowland forest. It was due to this rich
diversity of botanical treasures that the park was
recently granted World Heritage Status, along with
Mulu National Park, the first park in Malaysia. An
extensive network of jungle and mountain trails,
plus a wide range of accommodation available make
this a necessary part of any Sabah tour.
Detail Itinerary
Day 1 : Kinabalu Park (L,D)
Depart in the early morning for a 2-hr journey
through breathtaking scenery to Kinabalu Park with a
short stop at Nabalu to savor the local fruits and
to bargain prices for the handicrafts that the
villagers sell. Upon arrival at Kinabalu Park (88 km
from Kota Kinabalu), check-in at the Park’s office
and then you will go on a guided nature walk with a
Park naturalist (11 am). After lunch, there is a
further opportunity to explore the mountain garden
(open from 3 pm till 4 pm). The rest of the
afternoon is free for you to relax or explore the
park surroundings.

Day 2 : Departure (B,L)
Be entertained by the sound of the early "morning
music" of the montane species of birds found on Mt
Kinabalu as you prepare for breakfast. Our guide
will pick you up at your chalet as you check out and
take you back to Kota Kinabalu.

Package includes :

(Kinabalu Park), meals as stated (Full board).

Gloves, good walking shoes, insect repellant, sun block, change of

bars / sweets, water bottle, torch light, camera (optional).
