Detail Itinerary
Day 1 :
Kota Kinabalu
hrs Meet and
assisted upon arrival at Kota Kinabalu International
Airport. Transfer to hotel in Kota Kinabalu city.
Proceed for Half-Day City Tour. Visit the Heritage
Village & museum for a closer view of Sabah's ethnic
diversity highlighted by the unique local
architectural styles of homes in North Borneo and
the colourful costume display. Then, capture a
panoramic view of the city from Signal Hill before
proceeding for a City drive by major landmarks such
as the State & City Mosque, Tg. Aru Beach & the
highest building, Tun Mustapha Tower.
Accommodation at Promenade Hotel.
Day 2 : Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Day Trip (Breakfast,Lunch*)
08.00 hrs Breakfast at the hotel.
09.00 hrs A short walk to the town
jetty for a boat journey to the Tunku Abdul Rahman
Island Park. A day of relaxation under the swaying
palms and enjoy snorkelling or swimming in the
crystal blue waters. At midday, a sumptuous barbeque
lunch is served.
16.00 hrs Late afternoon, return to
hotel in the city.

Day 3 :
Kinabalu Park & Poring Hot Springs Day Trip (B,L*)
08.00 hrs Breakfast at the hotel.
09.00 hrs An early departure northbound
to the Crocker Range where the Majestic Mount
Kinabalu resides and on to the Poring Hotsprings.
Opportunity to venture up the canopy walkway for a
tete-a-tete with the birds, jungle trek to a bat
cave or waterfall and take a hot sulphur bath to
sooth your muscles.
12.00 hrs Depart for lunch at a local
restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Kinabalu
Park where you will find the biggest collection of
flora and fauna. Join a guided trail walk and visit
the Mountain Garden.
16.00 hrs Late afternoon return to the
city.

Day 4 :
Kota Kinabalu - Kuching (B*)
06.00 hrs Breakfast at the
hotel.
hrs Transfer
to the airport for flight to Kuching. Arrive at
Kuching and airport and transfer to hotel. Proceed
for city tour. The perfect introduction to Sarawak’s
historic capital, this tour includes Kuching’s
Chinatown, the Cat Statue (Kuching means “Cat” in
Malay), the colourful Tua Pek Kong Chinese Temple,
the Civic Centre Viewing Platform and the world
famous Sarawak Museum. Across river, visit either
the unique Cat Museum or Fort Margherita, passing
the magnificent State Mosque and the Astana, the
former residence of the White Rajahs. Return via the
golden-domed City Mosque and proceed on foot through
Old Kuching, visiting the colourful Central Markets
and squeezing through narrow alleyways crammed with
spice dealers and textile shops. Pass by the
heritage buildings of the White Rajah era, the
Pavilion, the Square Tower, the Court House, the
Charles Brooke Monument and the Post Office.

Day 5 :
Kuching - Orang Utan - Lemanak Longhouse (B,L,D*)
09.00 hrs A 225 km car/coach
journey takes you through lush green countryside
dotted with padi fields, pepper gardens and rubber
plantations, and flanked by rugged jungle-clad
mountains. Along the way, stop off at the Serian
farmer's market, visit a pepper garden and view
carnivorous pitcher plants. Stop for lunch at a
roadside bazaar deep in Iban country. Along the way
stop at the Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Arrive
at Lemanak jetty mid-afternoon for a longboat ride
up the Lemanak River , passing through typical
Borneo countryside with an ancient longhouse tucked
behind almost every bend in the river. Arrive at
either Serubah or Nanga Kesit Longhouse and visit
the “entire village under one roof.” Tour the
longhouse and enjoy a demonstration of blowpipe
shooting.
Overnight in the guesthouse.
Day 6 :
Lemanak -
Kuching
(B,L*)
08.00 hrs Breakfast at the
hotel.
09.00 hrs After breakfast,
enjoy a blowpipe demonstration and try shooting one yourself. Then
take a short walk through the forest accompanied by
traditionally-clad Iban trackers, and learn about the traditional
uses of rainforest plants in Iban culture. Depart for Kuching via
the same route. Lunch is served en route.

Day 7 :
Kuching - Departure (B*)
08.00 hrs Breakfast. Free at leisure to
explore the city of Kuching before your departure flight.
hrs Transfer to the airport.
