Itinerary in brief
Day 1 : ARRIVAL - YANGON
Day 2 : YANGON - BAGAN
Day 3 : BAGAN - MANDALAY - AMARAPURA
Day 4 : MANDALAY - MINGUN - SAGAING - YANGON
Day 5 : YANGON - DEPARTURE
This program begins with two nights in Yangon,
seeing some major sights of the capital city and also
the famous pottery village of Twante. Within easy reach
of Yangon, Bago is known for its cultural landmarks ,
some of which the Shwemawdaw Pagoda, the four giant
Buddha images at Kyaikpon Pagoda the Shwemawdaw pagoda.
Detail Itinerary
DAY 1: ARRIVAL -
YANGON
Arrive at Yangon International
Airport. Meet and transfer to Hotel. After check-in
hotel, lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, start
orientation tour of Yangon City including visits to:
Sule Pagoda - the heart of the Yangon City surrounded by
various colonial style buildings, Botataung Pagoda - the
land mark of Yangon's river-front, Chaukhtatgyi
Reclining Buddha Image - a colossal reclining Buddha
Image, and end of the tour at Shwedagon Pagoda - over
2500 years old the world famous stupa. Dinner and your
first night of stay in capital of Myanmar.
DAY 2: YANGON - TWANTE -
YANGON
Heading out of the town, we
travel by roads to Twante. The journey offers an
interesting view of the countryside as we pass by rice
fields, villager bamboo huts and banana plantations. On
the way, we make stop over at the vibrant local market
before boarding a horse and carriage to the pottery
village, where distinctive pots are made and used
throughout the delta region. After an enjoyable visit to
the production of pottery in local way, we return to
Yangon by ferry trip which will gives a chance to
explore the local lifestyle close up. On arrival, we
visit the National Museum with a lovely collection of
streasures and artefacts reflecting the richness of
Burmese culture and enjoy a walk along the bustling
streets of Indian town and Chinatown. O/N in Yangon. (B)
DAY 3: YANGON - BAGA -
YANGON
Today we make our way north
west to Bago which was once the capital of a former Mon
Kingdom. The colossal reclining Buddha of Shwethalyaung
boasts the most impressive sight in this town while the
Shwemawdaw Pagoda is extremely venerated. We visit both
structures as well as the four giant Buddha images at
Kyaikpon Pagoda
before wandering around the vibrant, colorful central
market. The return trip begins as we depart Bago and
pass through the scenic countryside. Along the way, we
stop to visit the Commonwealth War Cemetery nearby
Htaukkyan and the woven bamboo factory. O/N in Yangon.

DAY4: YANGON - DEPARTURE
There is a free time for your
own visit to Bogyoke Market, full of traditional art and
craftwork as well as souvenirs from all over the country
. The trip ends after transfer to Mingaladon airport for
departure. (B)
