Cinemania
If you thirst for excitement, get
ready for some crazy adventures at Cinemania, Singapore's first
experiential theatre of the 21st
century. Here you can enjoy hair-raising stimulating rides that
bring you right into the action of a movie!. This dynamic simulation
theatre features a state-of-the-art sight and sound system, and a
gigantic screen designed for specially produced high speed film. The
stunning audiovisual effect is heightened by a sensurround
soundtrack and computer synchronized motion seats which combine with
real wind to create an unbelievable ride experience.
Two movie rides are currently being screened, which will be
regularly updated throughout the year. Each ride lasts for four to
five minutes. Be it wheezing through Haunted Mine or riding the Kid
Coaster in the bedroom of a child, it will be an unforgettable
experience. Just hold on tight to the seat for your life and prepare
to scream.

Sentosa Bus. Alternatively, take Sentosa Bus from the World Trade

Cinemania
Ming Village
The art of porcelain-making reached
its pinnacle during the Ming and Qing dynasties of ancient China.
The Ming Village allows visitors to own a little bit of this
colourful history. It makes excellent reproductions of the finest
pieces of that era using age-old techniques. Here, the complete
traditional process from mould-making and handthrowing to glazing,
hand-painting and firing is all housed under one roof. Visitors can
watch the craftsmen at work and choose from an extensive selection
of porcelain on sale. Pewter-making classes and porcelain-painting
classes are also available. These classes are suitable for adults
and children aged 12 years or more. Bookings need to be made at

URA Gallery
At Raffles Place, the
gleaming financial hub of the city, there is hardly any building
built before the 1970s. Yet, it is inside the vicinity of the

At the URA Gallery, explore how this city, in spite of the pressures
