DAY 1: PHUKET - PHANG NGA - KHAO SOK NATIONAL PARK
An early morning start to drive north through Phang Nga province to Khao Sok, where you find some of the best remaining rainforest in Thailand. The park covers an area of 646 square kilometres and has an ecosystem. On arrival we begin our exploration of  the national park as we walk to a waterfall in the jungle  and  board a dinghy  for an exciting trip  through lagoon in the mangrove swamp to a deserted beach. After lunch we enjoy a short elephant ride beneath the lush vegetation of the primeval rain forest. O/N at Elephant Lodge. (L,D)

DAY 2: KHAO SOK

The beautiful national park of Khao Sok is home to a wide array of wildlife including leopard, serow, elephant, banteng, gaur, dusky langur, tiger, gibbons , however most of these species are nocturnal. The rich variety of birth life is also remarkable since over 165 species have been recorded in this region. A canoe trip down the Sok River is an impressive way to start the day. We pass towering limestone mountains and cliffs covered with exotic jungle. Afterwards we  take a jeep for an exploration of the safari and get off the beaten track. O/N at Elephant Lodge. (B,L,D)

DAY 3: KHAO SOK - CHEO LARN LAKE
Upon leaving our lodge of previous night we transfer to our floating house raft at Cheo Larn Lake, using various transport modes. This picturesque lake is situated in the park headquarter. After checking into the floating raft house, we embark on a walk to discover the park. The majority of trails follow picturesque river ways beneath a cover of native rainforest therefore our walk may involve some river crossings. At the end of our walk we come back to Cheo Larn Lake and  have free time to further explore the park or simply to relax. O/N in Khao Lak. (B,L,D)

DAY 4: CHEO LARN LAKE - KRABI
Today we navigate across the lake before we set off on a scenic drive to Krabi province. Along the way we explore magnificent caves where pre-historic men lived over 3000 years ago and numerous paintings can be seen on the wall. The overland trip continues to Tham Boke Moranee forest park, where a river flows from a cave and the area is ringed by limestone cliffs. A next stop is Ao Nang Beach in Krabi. We have time to relax on a beach  before continuing on to Krabi town, our final destination. O/N at Krabi. (B,L,D)

DAY 5: KRABI - PHUKET

The drive on rural roads and dirt trails through small Muslim villages, passing rice fields and oil palm plantations. After lunch at a local restaurant, we drive to a mineral water spring in the forest and explore a cave complex, consisting of several caves at different levels and a large variety of rock formations.
