Detail Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Bangkok
On arrival at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi
International Airport you will be greeted by
your guide and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Bangkok -
Rattanakosin Old Town (B,L,D)
After breakfast, you will around the old town of
Bangkok and see different places of interest,
such as the historical Ratchadamnoen Avenue, the
famous Grand Palace & Wat Phrakaew (The Temple
of Emerald Buddha), Wat Pho, the Temple of the
Reclining Buddha, and China Town. Delicious
lunch and dinner will be served at local
restaurants.

Day 3: Bangkok - Canal Tour
& Market (B)
After breakfast, join one of our popular canal
tours, from where you can observe the Royal
Barge and Wat Arun (The Temple of Dawn).
Continue your sightseeing tour to visit Wat Pho
(The Reclinng Buddha Temple) and relax with a
traditional Thai massage followed by a visit to
Pak Klong Talad, the Bangkok’s biggest flower
market. In the evening you will take the
overnight sleeper train to Lampang, Northern
Thailand.

Day 4: Lampang - Elephant
Conservation Center (B,L,D)
You will arrive early in the morning in Lampang
and your guide will escort you to the Elephant
Conservation Center, where you will check into
Mahout home-stay in the mahout village. Here you
can study and experience the life of a mahout
and his elephant. You can choose to participate
in mahout's daily life and join in various
communal activities. In the mornings, the
mahouts will go into the woods to bring their
elephant out to practice basic riding and
commands to the elephant and exchange experience
with English-speaking staff who are familiar
with elephants and mahouts. In the evening, you
will get the chance to return the elephant to
the woods. Finally, you may choose to also cook
local foods, dine northern Thai style and listen
to local music played by the mahouts.

Day 6: Lampang - Chiang Mai

After lunch with the mahouts, you will travel to
charming Chiang Mai with a stop at Rung Arun –
Sankampaeng Hotsprings and Muang On Cave. Here
you have the chance to enjoy the natural
hot-springs or a hike into the cave. On arrival
in Chiang Mai, enjoy a Kantoke Dinner
accompanied by a performance of traditional Thai
dances. After dinner, you can visit the famous
Night Bazar, Chiang Mai’s biggest handicraft
Center, where you can do souvenir shopping for
friends and relatives.

Day 7: Chiang Mai - City
Tour (B,L,D)
After breakfast, your guide will take you on a
city tour. The first stop will be Chiang Mai
Arts & Culture Center, where you will learn
about Chiang Mai’s history and current
happenings. You will continue the city tour by
visiting many different parts of the Northern
capital, passing by residential areas, notable
foreign establishments, historical government
buildings and a chance to shop at the busy Ton
Pa Yom or Som Pet Market where you can buy local
produce of the current season. Further, you will
drive through Ta Pae district, Chiang Mai’s main
Street and shopping district on to two splendid
temples: Wat Chedi Luang (AD 1411), where the
Emerald Buddha was once enshrined; Wat Phra Sing
(AD 1325), where a 1,500 year Lord Buddha image
and fine carvings are to be found.

Day 8: Chiang Mai - Bangkok
- Kanchanaburi - Jungle Rafts (B,L,D)
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up to
the airport for the morning flight to Bangkok.
On arrival at Bangkok Airport, you will travel
by van to Kanchanaburi, from where you will
drive north to the Thong Papoom area. You will
arrive at the Hellfire Pass Memorial, where you
can take a walk downhill to observe the death
railway remnants and learn about the moving
story of WWII from the comprehensive exhibition
at the museum. After lunch, you will return to
Kanchanaburi for a visit of the famous Bridge
Over the River Kwai, from where you will take a
long-tail boat for about 20-30 minutes to get to
the Jungle Rafts, passing by unspoiled
mountainous jungle scenery. On arrival, you will
check into the Jungle Rafts. Here, you can swim
off the raft and visit a Mon village nearby.
Enjoy a delicious dinner followed by a 45-minute
presentation of Mon Dance.

Day 9: Bangkok - Lawa Cave

After breakfast, you will visit the Lawa Cave to
explore the fascinating rock formations inside.
After exploring the cave, you will transfer by
boat and van to Ratchburi Railway Station, from
where you will travel to Surat Thani by
overnight sleeper train.

Day 10: Surat Thani - Khao
Sok (B,L,D)
On arrival at Surat Thani Railway Station, you
will transfer to Khao Sok, where you will check
into a nature lodge. The rest of the morning
will be at your leisure. After lunch, you can
join a half-day hike with an experienced guide
into the nearby jungle. Enjoy a walk through a
rainforest crisscrossed with waterfalls and
streams, teemed with thick bamboo, thorny
rattan, pandanus and other tropical flora. You
will have plenty of chances to swim in the cool
clear waters of Thailand’s jungle. In the
afternoon, return to the lodge and enjoy a
delicious dinner after a tiring but fruitful
day.

Day 11: Khao Sok - Lake
Trip - Rafthouse (B,L,D)
After breakfast, you will leave by van to Chiew
Larn Lake (Ratchaprapa Lake), where you will
take a boat through a fairyland of majestic
limestone cliffs, to the tranquil and secluded
floating raft-houses. After a delicious lunch at
the raft-houses you'll have time to spot some of
the wildlife or take a dip in the emerald green
water. You will then head off on a 2-3 hour
guided walk through the jungle with a stop at a
waterfall. Perhaps the weather will favor a walk
through Namtaloo Cave. After dinner you may have
the chance to feed hornbills, other large birds,
and monkeys which may emerge from the jungle.

Day 12: Rafthouse - Krabi (B,L)
After an early morning rise, take a boat trip to
see the beautiful view on the other site of the
lake and observe the domestic wildlife, which is
often visible at the edge of the lake. Following
breakfast, the morning is at leisure to swim in
the lake. After lunch, transfer to Krabi to
check into the Princeville Resort, located on Ao
Nang Beach.

Today, you can relax at the beach or explore the
area around the Princeville Resort (Superior
room)

Day 14: Krabi - Bangkok -
Departure (B)
Enjoy the morning on the beach before taking an
afternoon flight to Bangkok, from where you will
take your connecting flight back home.
