BRIEF ITINERARY:
Night 01:
departure on the overnight train from
Hanoi to Lao Cai city
Day 01: awesome trek uphill from Thanh
Binh tea farm to untouched Lung Khau
Nhin. Sightseeing tour to Cao Son
waterfall.
Day 02: hiking to some villages of
Flower Hmong.
Day 03: visiting Red Dao tribes,
crossing corn fields to reach Ban Cam.
Back to Lao Cai

DETAILED ITINERARY:
Night 01: taking
overnight from Hanoi train station to
Lao Cai city. Enjoy some drinks onboard.
Day 01: Lao Cai - Cao Son ( B,
L, D)
Am: having breakfast in a chic
restaurant near Lao Cai train station.
Having car transferred to Thanh Binh
teafarm from where you will embark on an
uphill-trek to the village of Black Dao.
The zig-zag paths exposes a very
spectacular toward mountains and a green
valley. After 2hours, we will arrive in
Lung Khau Nhin commnue, enjoy a scenic
drive to Cao Son Ecolodge.
Pm: free at leisure and visit Cao Son
waterfall. Spend a peaceful evening with
an impressive musical performance of
Flower Hmong.
Day 02: Cao Son - Lung Sen Lung-
Seo Lung Cheng ( B, L, D)
Am: after the breakfast in Cao
Son Ecolodge, we start our squad trek
from the village of Plum fruits to the
village of earth-walled houses. The way
down to Lung Sen Lung is secluded and
really quite. Lunch in the village.
Pm: cross the green valley of corn, we
will reach Seo Lung Cheng. It is the
best time to enjoy the odd tradition and
colorful customs of Flower Hmong who
still live in earth-walled houses. Back
to the lodge to spend overnight.
Day 03: Cao Son - Muong Lum -
Ban Cam ( B, L, D)
Am: breakfast in the lodge,
embark on a trail walking to the village
of Red Dao tribe ( 8km). Visit Muong Lum
village then having lunch with local
people.
Pm: continue your walk through the
primitive forest then over some
beautiful terraces before reaching Ban
Cam. Dinner in Lao Cai city.

and festive on Wednesday, when
ethnic people gather there to buy
and sell goods, dine and drink, or

the montagnard market. There is

joining the realm of Flower Hmong,
Nung and Dao tribes.
