Detail Itinerary
This tipical trip is for those who love more
challenging cycling in pecific way to discover
mekong delta of, it brings to travelers the many
varied aspects of this watery Delta. This tour
coversthe complete highlights in the Delta. It
is a combination of cycling, boating, visits to
cottage industries, fruit gardens, floating
markets, locals homes …
Day 1: Sai Gon - MyTho - BenTre
After our breakfast, we transfer a couple of
hours out of Ho Chi Minh City to Tan An – the
gateway to the Mekong Delta, where we start our
riding through rice fields to My Tho city. Lunch
break in MyTho.
After lunch we embark our boat to local
orchards, visiting bee farm, coco candy work
shop, then cycling to Phu Tuc where we stay over
night. Dinner while we enjoy traditional music
from locals (L,D)

Day 2: Ben Tre - Tra Vinh
Morning start our ride in the country side
passing rice fields, rivers we then arrive Tra
Vinh town, Late afternoon we have city tour to
Kh'mer pagoda and Oc Om bok pond. Over night in
hotels ( B,L)

Cycling distance: 50 – 70 km
Day 3: TraVinh - CanTho
We'll cycle to discover some of the most
beautiful Theravada pagodas of TraVinh. Ferry
crossing, continue along the small
inter-provincial road to Can tho. O/N in CanTho.

Day 4: CanTho - Rach Gia
Early morning boat trip to visit the biggest
floating market in Mekong delta, Cairang
floating market. We then drive to Vi Thanh and
start cycling onto Rach Gia. Picnic lunch en
route. O/N in RachGia. (B,L)

Day 5: RachGia - Hon Trem
Ride along the coastline heading west to the
vibrant border town of Ha Tien. Passing a few
mangrove swamps, beaches and rice fields. O/N in
Hon Trem - Ha Tien. (B,L)

Day 6: Hon Trem Ha Tien
This mornig we have a short tour to Hang Pagoda,
( Option for boat trip to island off shore) the
free time on the beach. in the afternoon we
cycling to Ha Tien town where we visit Ha Tien
Cape and Temple of the founder
of Ha Tien Over night in Ha tien town.

Day 7: Ha Tien- Chau Doc:
Ride along VinhTe border canal to TinhBien, we
stop over for short visit to Ba Chuc Cave - well
known as “killing field”, when the Khmer Rouge
massacred thousands of Vietnamese in 1979.
Continue riding to the foot
of the sacred Sam Mountain with its panoramic
view over the vast plains of the Mekong Delta
and far into Cambodia. O/N in ChauDoc. (B,L,)

Day 8: ChauDoc - CaoLanh
Rising early for a boat ride through floating
fish farms to a small Khmer village. Lunch, then

Day 9: Long Xuyen - Ho Chi Minh
start in the morning we cycling to Cao Lanh,
Lunch, drive to Ho Chi Minh City

cycling section. You will be able to decide for
yourself at any time during each of these days
how far you want to cycle. Average daily cycling
distances are approximately 60 -100 km. These
distances may vary according to weather, road
conditions and group fitness and preferences.
This is a sightseeing cycle tour, not a marathon
or time trial.
