Day 01, Thursday: Arrival Hanoi
Arrival transfer to our hotel in old quarter of
Hanoi. At leisure, overnight at the hotel in
Hanoi
Day 02, Friday: Hanoi -
Sapa
Our trip starts
with an overnight train journey from Vietnams
capital city to the border town of Lao Cai. The
luxury Victoria Express departs at
22:00pm

Day 03, Saturday: Sapa
The train arrives at the Lao Cai train station
at approximately 06:00. There will be a vehicle
waiting to transfer us to Sapa.
The drive to Sapa is only 33 km but it takes
around 1.5 hours. Once at Sapa, we will check
into Victoria hotel, we have a freshen up, and
have breakfast at the hotel and then enjoy
a free morning to explore around town. This
afternoon at 1pm there will be a walking tour to
the hill tribe villages of Cat Cat, home to the
H'mong hill tribes minority peoples. As we
walk to the villages nestled in the valley below
Sapa, we will meet some of the local minority
people on their way to and from Sapa. Here we
have the opportunity to share cultural
experiences with the families that live in the

Day 04, Sunday: Bacha Market - Victoria Express train back to Hanoi
Rising to the sounds of morning coming to life
for another lovely day, we breakfast and
head out for a stunning spectacular of bobbling
bazaar. Bacha is considered
one of the most wonderful and colorful markets
in extreme north Vietnam where thousands of
local people in their traditional attires busily
buy and sell the local produces. Dog, cat, pig,
horse... are all on sales. This is golden
opportunity to take best shots! Afternoon we
will have a pleasant walk to Ban Pho
village, home to flower H'mong people.
Opportunity to interact with friendly local
people and have pleasant walk amongst tribal
villages. Transfer to Laocai station for
overnight Victoria Express back to Hanoi.

Day 05, Monday : Hanoi - Halong bay Junk
cruise
Welcome on board of Halong Ginger and set sail through bay
while lunch is served. Passage into the magical
bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone
islands rise from the waves like dragon' teeth.
After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby
summit for a panoramic view of the bay dotted
with Halong Ginger golden sails, go swimming on
a quite beach or sunbathing on the sundeck.
Later afternoon, visit an interesting fishing
village with opportunity to interact with
fishmen who have been living in the bay for
almost three generations.
At sunset time, kayak or simply take a bamboo
row boat to discover a water tunnel with many
coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back on board
Halong Ginger , enjoy cocktails while watching
sunset and later unwind at Ginger restaurant

Day 06,
Tuesday: Halong
Bay Cruise
After breakfast, transfer to your day' trip boat
with private crew and cruise to the bay's most
untouched areas. Enjoy swimming on quiet
beaches, visiting water tunnels, fishing
villages or kayaking. Lunch served on board by
your private chef. Return to the mother boat for
the night.

Day 07,
Wednesday: Halong bay Junk cruise - Hanoi
Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise
with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, visit
beautiful limestone grotto then back to the boat for a final glimpse of the
Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock.

Day 08, Thursday : Hanoi
Leisure day to enjoy Hanoi till your departure.
The trip concludes.
