Detail Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi - Halong Bay
Kayaking
Today we depart hotel at 8h00 and
drive towards Halong Bay, truly one of Vietnam's
most scenic impressive sights. On arrival in
Halong Town we are welcomed on a traditional
junk with a refreshing drink and get some boat
information as well as kayak orientation. This
is time for us to settle into a private
comfortable cabin and unpack for a five days
exploring Halong Bay. The traditional boat
cruises through Dinh Huong island , Ga Choi
island, Sung Sot cave before it anchors at Soi
Sim area, giving us a free hand kayaking. We row
our kayak passing by the limestone karst
formations which are littered with beaches and
beautiful caves. At sunset we regroup at the
escort boat for relaxation and dinner. The night
paddle is available for kayaking fervors. O/N on
board. (B,L,D)
Day 2: Halong Bay - Cua Van - Ba Ham Kayaking
The sailing junks navigating past over 3,000 limestone islands and
outcrops jutting out of the clear and emerald water of the bay make
for a marvelous scene. We have an option to get up early to admire
the splendid landscape and see the fishmen on a morning catch. The
huge breakfast is an impressive way to start our active day. We
continue cruising towards Ba Ham area for the second kayaking. Today
we paddle around this scenic zone at our pace to explore the
mystical rock formations, hidden caves as well as many secluded
lagoons. The kayaking is not only activity in places. You have
plenty of time for you own pleasure; swimming or simply soaking up
the sunshine. O/N on board. (B,L,D)
Day 3: Halong - Lan Ha Bay Kayaking - Ba Trai
Dao Upon leaving our last night stop
area we weave our way towards Lan Ha Bay. On arrival we get down to
the turquoise water and row our kayak past the spectacular rock
formations of various shapes and sizes. The modern kayaking
equipment will enable rower to easily maximize on speed and venture
into the many hidden lagoons or secluded caves. They are
particularly difficult to be accessed by different means of
transport. We paddle across an open sea area to Ba Trai Dao. These
unspoiled beaches are an ideal place for anyone seeking an enjoyable
escape. The perfect way to round off our day is a sunset paddle or
leisurely swim on beaches. O/N on board. (B,L,D)
Day 4: Halong Bay - Hang Hanh - Cong Do
Kayaking The scenic impressive scenery
of Halong Bay looks endless. Today we continually explore this world
famous wonder and soak up the sunshine and sea as much as we want by
spending our time kayaking. The next paddling site is Hanh cave
which is naturally decorated with magnificent stalactites and
stalagmites. They are fabulous for photograph hunters. We discover a
scenic grotto by kayak before heading towards Cong Do island in Bai
Tu Long. This secluded area is almost off tourist excursions however
it is a wonderful site for an exciting afternoon paddling. The
programme may be amended depending on tide conditions. At nightfall
we embark our escort boat to relax and enjoy a refreshing drink from
the bar. O/N on board. (B,L,D)
Day 5: Halong Bay - Tam Cung Kayaking - Hanoi
The traditional escort boat delivers us near Tam Cung cave. We spend
few more hours rowing our kayak past Hon Am, May Den and Ba Lai
rocks. These imposing islets are aptly named by their distinctive
shapes. The amazing blend of the towering islands and the turquoise
water is nothing short of spectacular. By mid morning we complete
our exciting kayaking adventure and arrange our luggage to cruise
back to the Halong pier. The shuttle bus will pick us up for a
return journey. The trip ends after arrival in Hanoi. (B,L)
CRUISE INFORMATION:
There are some main differences on the boat/junk
types as the following:
Space on the boat, with the standard one
- you would have to expect small size boat, from
your bedroom to the sun deck, whilst the
Superior & Deluxe class will have larger
sized dining area that is warm and cozy, more
importantly with comfort in your cabins (larger
bed, bigger glassed window) as well as the
sunbath area (with comfortable chairs)
Toilet & shower on boat/junk, if you wish to
have comfort in your privacy, Standard boat
will not be a choice since the toilet is
normally outside (shared bathrooms), while
Superior will offer this and you will even
find it better at Deluxe class.
Facilities on the
Superior and Deluxe boat are up-to-date international
standard, good air-conditioning in the cabin,
fine toilet facilities whilst there is normally
a fan in the cabin at the standard boat.
Well trained, devoted and courtesy staff will
always make your stay unforgettable on the

Halong
