DAY  1: ARRIVAL HO CHI MINH
Arrive at the airport, pick up and transfer to your hotel. Welcome dinner and trip orientation with trip leader and local guide. Overnight at hotel in Saigon.

DAY  2: HO CHI MINH - CAI BE[B,L,D]
08h00 pick up at hotel in Saigon and drive to Can Duoc (35km). Embarking our boat and cruise to Rice market “Cho Gao” while lunch is served on board. Arrive in “Cho Gao” walking around the local market. Cruise to Thoi Son island, walk through the island, trying native fruits viewing local handicraft production and meeting the local people. Continue cruise to Cai Be, the magnificent sunset on the river and its great time to set off for a couple of hours kayaking on the river. We leave the boat and spend the night at a beautiful local garden house.

DAY  3: CAI BE - KAYAKING[B,L,D]
Full day kayaking to explore branches of Mekong River, floating villages and markets. Diner and overnight at local garden house.

DAY  4: CAI BE - SA DEC - LONG XUYEN[B,L,D]
After breakfast. We explore the lively Cai Be floating market in early morning by kayaks. Walking for visit the handicraft village of the local people. Visit to the old house and sample various tropical fruits. Continue kayaking through Mekong River and reach Long Xuyen in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight on board.

DAY  5: LONG XUYEN - CAN THO[B,L,D]
In the morning, the noise of the floating market wake you up, contemplate the time of the sun’ rising and breakfast on board. Visit the Long Xuyen floating market by kayaks. We say good bye to the boat and meet our car for driving to Can Tho. Arrive Can Tho, check in the hotel. Dinner at the restaurant and overnight at the hotel.

DAY  6: CAN THO - KAYAKING[B.L.D]
After early breakfast, a full day kayaking to Cai Rang market through lively life on the Mekong river. We return to Can Tho in the afternoon. Dinner at restaurant in town and overnight at hotel.

DAY  7: CAN THO - CHAU DOC[B,L,D]
Drive from Can Tho to Chau Doc, the border of Vietnam-Cambodia. Arrive Chau Doc around noon, check in hotel. Afternoon, visit central market, boat cruise on the Mekong to visit Fish Farm, Cham village and sunset. Overnight at hotel in Chau Doc.

DAY  8: CHAU DOC - HO CHI MINH[B,L,D]
We drive back to Saigon and arrive in the afternoon. Check in hotel and overnight at hotel in Saigon.

DAY  9: HO CHI MINH FREE[B,L,D]
Free day to explore town on own. Farewell dinner and overnight at hotel in Saigon.

DAY 10: HO CHI MINH - DEPARTURE
today we have free time until transfer to airport for your flight to your home.
 

CRUISE INFORMATION:

There are some main differences on the boat/junk types as the following;

Space on the boat, with the standard one - you would have to expect small size boat, from your bedroom to the sun deck, whilst the Superior & Deluxe class will have larger sized dining area that is warm and cozy, more importantly with comfort in your cabins (larger bed, bigger glassed window) as well as the sunbath area (with comfortable chairs)

Toilet & shower on boat/junk, if you wish to have comfort in your privacy, Standard boat will not be a choice since the toilet is normally outside (shared bathrooms), while Superior will offer this and you will even find it better at Deluxe class.

Facilities on the Superior and Deluxe boat are up-to-date international standard, good air-conditioning in the cabin, fine toilet facilities whilst there is normally a fan in the cabin at the standard boat.

Well trained, devoted and courtesy staff will always make your stay unforgettable on the Superior and Deluxe junk.

Halong Bay is beautiful and we suggest enjoy it in Superior or Deluxe Junk, paying a bit more but you will find it worth every cents you pay for.

KAYAK INFORMATION:

The kayaking equipments consist of paddle, dry bag, life jacket, flash light and sit on top kayak or sit inside kayak. The sit on top kayak has a length of 4 meters and 1 or 2 seats. The sit inside kayak also measures 4 meters and and 1 or 2 seats.
