Detail Itinerary
DAY 1: ARRIVAL HANOI
Welcome at the airport by your local guide and
transfer to the hotel. After check-in, climb
into a traditional cyclo (pedicab) for a 90
minute tour of the colonial city’s traditional
“36 streets of 36 wares” in the Old Quarter and
Hoan Kiem Lake vicinity. In the evening enjoy a
traditional water puppet show before dinner at
one of the finest restaurants in town, the
Season of Hanoi. Overnight at the hotel in
Hanoi.
DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR [B,L,D]
Today, we have half-day tour of Vietnam’s
capital city, including Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum
and traditional stilt house, the Ho Chi Minh
Museum, and the revered One-Pillar Pagoda. After
lunch, continue to Ethnology Museum where after
finished the Museum, we spend a couple of hours
for trying your bike with assist of our mechanic
to make sure you will have a comfortable and
good bike for a big journey. Dinner at
restaurant to meet your biking leader for tour
briefing. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 3: HANOI - BA BE [B, L, D]
After breakfast, leave Hanoi by vehicle to Bac
Kan with lunch en route. Afternoon, hop on our
bike and start cycling from Bac Kan to Ba Be via
Cho Don. Take a boat to boatmen village upon on
arrival, where we spend our night at a bungalow
house of the Tay people. Dinner and over night
at Pa Co village.
DAY 4: BA BE [B, L, D]
After breakfast, a whole day boat cruise to
visit Ba Be lake. Visit waterfall and lunch at
Ong Pirate restaurant. Your leader will find the
best place for swimming. Return to the village
for overnight.
DAY 5: BA BE - CAO BANG [B, L, D]
Today is one of most challenges day throughout
the trip. Some skills are required on this road.
Driving up to the top of the Binh Nguyen Pass
with lunch en route. From the top, get on our
bike again for a going downhill and arrive Cao
Bang in late afternoon. Dinner at “Lau”
restaurant and over night at hotel in Cao Bang.
DAY 6: CAO BANG - QUANG HOA [B, L, D]
After breakfast, we are cycling through the most
beautiful road up to Trung Khanh and Tra Linh
towns with visit to villages en route. Arrive in
Quang Hoa at the end of the day. Dinner and over
night at the village in Quang Hoa.
DAY 7: QUANG HOA - LANG SON [B, L, D]
From valley of Quang Hoa, we follow the most
beautiful route up to Dong Khe with stop at
villages and for photos. Our driver is waiting
for us at Dong Khe for driving to Lang Son with
stop That Khe for lunch. Arrive Lang Son in late
afternoon. Dinner at local restaurant and over
night at the hotel in Lang Son.
DAY 8: LANG SON - TIEN YEN - HA LONG
[B, L, D]
Full day cycling and driving from Lang Son to Ha
Long via Tien Yen. Arrive Halong in late
afternoon, board on traditional junk and the
boat cruise to the most isolated areas for
spending the night. Swimming and relaxing on the
beautiful beach. Dinner and over night on board.
DAY 9: HA LONG - HANOI [B, L, D]
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the best
of the bay. The Junk continue to cruise through
the bay. Lunch on board before back to the
Harbor for driving back to Hanoi. Dinner free
and over night at the hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 10: HANOI FREE
Free day in Hanoi to explore town on own.
Farewell dinner at the restaurant in town and
over night at hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 11: HANOI DEPARTURE
Free until transfer to the airport for flight
out. End of trip.
