Detail Itinerary
Hanging over 5000 km square with the population
of 6000 people, with lush greenery of mountain
ranges is just the beginning of your expedition
to the jade of Far East. Imagine a land lush in
tropical forest and emerald rice terrace fields
and a land alive with very colorful tradition
and culture. The old French-built hill station
of Sapa (1600m above sea level) is the natural
starting point for a unique experience of the
Sapa area. This includes the Hoang Lien Son
mountain range, and Indochina's highest peaks,
Fansipan (3143m), and 6 different ethnic
minority groups, each one colorful, distinct and
with its own language and cultural values.
Day 1, Friday: Hanoi - Sapa
Transfer to Hanoi train station for night train
to Lao Cai at 22.00 hrs. Overnight on Victoria
carriage (4-bed superior cabin) Victoria Express
Day 2, Saturday: Sapa
The train arrives at the Lao Cai train station
at approximately 06:00. There will be a vehicle
waiting to transfer us to Sapa. The drive
to Sapa is only 33 km but it takes around 1.5
hours. Once at Sapa, we will check into Victoria
hotel, we have a freshen up, and enjoy breakfast
at the hotel. At 10am there will be a
walking tour to the hill tribe villages of Cat
Cat, home to the H'mong hill tribes
minority peoples. As we walk to the villages
nestled in the valley below Sapa, we will meet
some of the local minority people on their way
to and from Sapa. Here we have the opportunity
to share cultural experiences with the families
that live in the area.

Day 3, Sunday: Bacha Market
Rising to the sounds of morning coming to life
for another lovely day, we breakfast and
head out for a stunning spectacular of bobbling
bazaar. Visit the colourful Bac Ha market
full of montagnards from surrounding villages.
They dress their most colourful costumes and
head to the market to exchange goods or sell
self-made souvenirs. Lunch en route. Walking
tour at Ban Pho village then drive to Sapa.
Enjoy the picturesque scenery along the way
leading towards Sapa, a mountainous area of
stunning natural beauty and diverse ethnic
minorities. Transfer to the hotel for check-in

Day 4, Monday: Sapa
Breakfast at the hotel
We then embark on a lovely walk that will take
us along buffalo paths and trails and through
several hill tribe villages of Lao Chai and
Tavan, home to H'mong, and Dzay people. This is
a absolutely spectacular walk through stunning
scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest
people you can meet. Stopping for a picnic lunch
on the way at a family in Ta Van village.

Day 5, Tue: Sapa- Hanoi
At leisure to enjoy Sapa town.
At 4pm there will be a transfer to Laocai
station for the overnight Victoria Express back
to Hanoi. The train depart at 21:15pm. Enjoy 3
course diner on Victoria Express train.

Day 6, Wed: Arrival Hanoi
Arrival Hanoi around 4:30am but you can s extend
your sleep on the Victoria berth till 7am.
The trip concludes in Hanoi.
