Detail Itinerary
DAY 1:HANOI - LAO CAI
Night One: Take10: 00 PM train from Hanoi to Lao
cai (sleep on the train with soft berth).)
DAY 2: LAO CAI - SA PA - TA PHIN
VILLAGE
pick up at Lao Cai station then transfer to Sa
Pa . check in and have breakfast in the hotel
before the trip starts take us to TaPhin
village. You will see the ruins of the old
French Colonial Church by the left-hand side of
this dirt road where we stop to get entrance
fees to enter the village. Leave your bike/jeep
at the end of the dirt road then walk into the
village to visit the rich culture and friendly
tribes here we visit the villages of the Red
Dzao and Black Hmong minority people, enjoy the
view of the valley and visit the caves in the
village's outskirts. We serve your lunch there.
Our guide will assist you communicating with the
locals while visiting around the village. Take a
ride back to Sapa for around 30 minutes and you
might stop some times on the way to take photos
of the fabulous valley. Many photo stops and
"Kodak moments"are awaiting for you a long the
way back to Sapa. Overnight in a hotel (Meal:
B,L,D)
DAY 3: SAPA - LAO CHAI - TA VAN - GIANG TA
CHAI
Have a breakfast and check out before the trip
starts. Trek down to Lao Chai village to visit
the Tay and Day tribes. Have a picnic lunch on
the way then keep going along the bottom of the
Sa Pa valley to get to Ta Van village, which is
supposed to be the most beautiful one in the
area. Afterward you head up to Giang Ta Chai
village of the Red Dzao tribe where you see the
amazing scenery and beautiful waterfall.
Overnight in a local family. (Meal: B,L,D) .
DAY 4: GIANG TA CHAI - BAN HO - SA PA
Rise up early in the morning for breakfast then
head to Ban ho. You will trek up and down hill
through a jungle and pass the Muong Hoa River
and waterfall. Ban Ho village where you have
lunch there live the Tay tribe with their
special wooden house on stilts will amaze you,
let alone the peaceful scenery and friendly
people. And in the last 45 min, climbing up hill
to get to the waiting point is really a
challenge for you. You get back to Sa Pa by
jeep. Overnight in a hotel. (Meal: B, L, D)
DAY 5: SA PA - CAT CAT - SIN CHAI
Breakfast in the hotel, the rest of the morning
is free to explore the town on your own. After
lunch you check out and leave your luggage in
the hotel then get yourself ready before heading
down to Cat Cat and Sin Chai village of black
H'Mong tribe, Enjoy the waterfall in Cat Cat and
beautiful scenery along the way , back to Sa Pa
get fresh with a shower in the hotel's day room
then transfer to Lao Cai station for the night
train back to Ha Noi. Overnight on the train
with soft berth. (Meal: B, L) .

Bac Ha Market Sunday only
Leaving from Sa Pa early in the morning
at 6.30Am, we take the bus to Bac Ha market. We
arrive in Bac Ha at 9.30 AM, the best time to
visit huge market with its entire colorful
ethnic people as Flower Hmong, Phu La and Dzao,
Tuyen who gather to buy and sell. After visiting
this outstanding market , our guide will take
you to hike to Ban Ho village for a 2
hour.Around 3.00PM, we get back to Sa Pa or to
Lao Cai station depending on your wishes .
Muong Hum Market Sunday only
Leaving from Sa Pa early in the , At 6.30Am, we
take the bus to Bac Ha market. We arrive in
Muong Hum at 9.30 AM , the best time to visit
this very interesting local market frequented by
Tu Di, Dao Tuyen H Nhi, Flower Hmong and Dzay
minorities. We enjoy in a small local restaurant
and after lunch we visit Ha Nhi Village. We walk
around the village and it is possible to visit
local house . In the early afternoon, transfer
back to Sa Pa or to Lao Cai train station
depending on your wishes .
Minorities, rice fields and waterfall
You will commence your journey from Sapa by car
to Lao Chai village, a Black Hmong ethnic
minority village. You will then be able to walk
from Lao Chai to Tavan village where the Giay
ethnic minority hill tribe lives. Here you will
be able to rest and enjoy a delicious lunch
prepared by your guide in a local house.
After lunch the walk continues through a bamboo
forest to Giang Ta Chai, a Red Dao ethnic
minority village. After taking a rest nearby a
waterfall to refresh, you start climbing uphill
to a road where the car is ready for your
journey back to Sapa.
Sapa valley explorer
You will travel by car to Su Pan from where you
will commence your walk downhill through the
breathtaking scenery. On the way you will pass
through the Ban Ho village where you will be
able to witness the stunning views of the valley
and rice paddy terraces. You will have the
opportunity to explore the Ban Ho village of Tay
minority before crossing the suspension bridge
over the river, where your guide will prepare a
delicious lunch in a local house. The walk then
continues through the rice fields to the Red Dao
village of Nam Toong, a Red Dao willage, where
you will enjoy a cup of tea before heading back
to Ban Ho to take a nice swim in the river
nearby. You will then take the walk uphill to Su
Pan. Here you return to Sapa by car
Hidden trail to a Red Dao village
We will first travel by car downhill to Mong
Sen, where you start ascending on a dirt trail
through a mountainous area. En route, you have
many opportunities to enjoy spectacular view
over rice paddy terraces and cornfields. You
will take a stop for lunch at a nice spot.
After lunch, the trek will continue by going
downhill toward Taphin where you can meet Red
Dao and Black Hmong minorities, two largest
ethnic groups in Sapa. Here your guide will tell
you about local daily life. You will return Sapa
by car in the afternoon.
Mountain view and river side
You first sneak through the Sapa market and
leave the busy town behind. After a couple of
minutes, you follow a road going downhill to Cat
Cat village. You will stop by a waterfall and a
hydroelectric station for a while before
continuing the trek on a dirt trail through rice
paddy terraces. You also will enjoy spectacular
scenery while walking along a narrow river. You
eventually arrive in Y Linh Ho village of Black
Hmong minority, where you can take a rest while
you are served lunch nearby the river.
After lunch, you head toward Muong Hoa valley.
You will pass through Lao Chai village of Black
Hmong minority and then Tavan village of Giay
minority by following a very popular trekking
route. You will return Sapa from Tavan by car
Through small Hmong villages to Taphin
The walk commence from Sapa on a trail running
through the beautiful gardens and lush pine
forests. You will then pass through the Black
Hmong ethnic minority village of Matra, a very
small village hiding way from the civilisation.
The walk continue through rice paddy fields and
spectacular scenery. During the day you will
also be able to visit a local school. You will
enjoy your lunch before arriving at the Taphin
village. Here you can hear about the unmixed
cultural life of Black Hmong and Red Dao
minorities, 2 largest ethnic groups in the area.
You can already recognise them by dressing while
they are both very famous of handicraft. You
will enjoy walking among local people. The trip
also offers you the opportunity to visit the
local houses as well as visit the local caves.
You will return Sapa by car
Easy day to Binh Lu
You first travel by car uphill toward Tram Ton.
On the way, you can take a short walk to Silver
Waterfall and then head to Heaven Gate, where
you will be amazed by breathtaking view to
mountain surrounding included Fansipan, the
highest peak of Indochina. Your ride will be
mostly downhill toward Binh Lu. You will stop by
Chu Va village of Flower Hmong for a break
before you arrive in Binh Lu. Here you will have
lunch in a local restaurant.
After lunch, you turn in a dirt road to the
villages, which are set in a beautiful valley of
rice paddy terraces and mountain surrounded. You
will have time to stop by Pa Pen village of Lu
minority. Here you can take a walk around the
village as well as visit a local school. You
will then get on the car to return to Sapa. (L)
On foot of Hoang Lien National Park
You will travel by car mostly downhill toward
Sin Chai village of Black Hmong minority, which
locates right at the foot of Hoang Lien mountain
range. Here you start heading up the mountain.
Once you get to the top, you will trek on a
small trail with spectacular view and then
gradually descend to Cat Cat village, where you
will have lunch nearby a waterfall.
In the afternoon, you take a trail sneaking
through mountain. You also will enjoy
spectacular scenery while walking along a narrow
river. Eventually you will arrive in Y Linh Ho
village of Black Hmong minority, where you can
take a rest in a nice spot nearby the beautiful
river before climbing toward a road, where you
return Sapa by car
From Heavens gate to Sapa valley
You travel by car toward the Silver Waterfall
where you will be able to take a short walk to
the waterfall. You will then drive further to
Heaven Gate, the highest peak of roads in
Vietnam. From there you can see Fansipan, the
highest peak of Indochina mountains as well as
enjoy stunning views.
The walk commence at a point nearby the
waterfall, by a descent on a trail through
bamboo forest, which belongs to Hoang Lien
National Park. Your lunch will be served at a
nice spot nearby a river.
After lunch, you continue the trek to Sin Chai
village, where Community Based Tourism in Sapa
takes place. You will have opportunity to visit
the village, inhabited by the Black Hmong
minority, one of the largest group ethnic
minorities in Sapa area. Here you start you
journey back to Sapa by car. (L)
